We bought this as an extra computer to supplement our desktop which is what we use mainly. Because we were going to be moving it around the house and traveling with it we wanted it to be light. Well, it sure is. We love the size. I was a little worried about the small key board, but it is not bad once you get used to it. The touch screen has some features like the ability to expand or contract the screen using two fingers (like an Iphone) that is pretty cool, but we didn't know about it at first and could figure out what was going on. The battery life is great, ususally seven hours or more. Another thing that I thought might be a problem is the screen size, but I have not had any problems with it. It is quite sharp and clear.
The only problem, and it is significant, is that it can be really, really sloooww - enough that I knocked two stars off. I did a search and found that this is a problem for a lot of people. There were a couple of tweeks you can do to speed it up, including deleting a lot of the "bloatware" that is preloaded and all unnecessary programs and adjusting the power settings. That helps, but it is still slower than any laptop that I've used.
