Bigger isn't necessarily better, this little wonder is quite a mighty performer. Purchased a few weeks ago due to the 'passing' of my desktop, the Acer will perform very well within the necessities of having access to e-mail, producing documents and even working with the Photoshop CS4. The longevity of the batteries (approx. 6 hours) make it even more attractive. The lack of a DVD/CDRom drive should not discourage any, for they are easily available as a stand alone unit, to be connected via USB. I added one and the system is complete now.
